Daisy is a New Zealand trained Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. With a special interest in colposcopy, Daisy also sees women with general gynecological problems.

Qualifications

Daisy is a New Zealand-trained Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. While making patients feel at ease with her kind and caring manner and effective communication, she also aims to empower women helping them understand what they are going through.


With a special interest in colposcopy, Daisy participates in quality assurance activity to monitor outcomes in both diagnostic and therapeutic colposcopy. She has excellent working relationships with fellow colposcopists, nurses, and pathologists to ensure up-to-date and sound clinical practice.

Daisy also sees women with general gynaecological problems such as pelvic pain, menstrual problems, and ovarian cysts. She is able to perform an ultrasound during the consultation to give good comprehensive care.

In her spare time, Daisy enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. Windy Wellington is a wonderful place to explore especially when it has the best coffee in the world.

As well as private work, Daisy also works at Wellington Public Hospital and is the clinical coordinator for Mortality and Morbidity Meetings for both Maternity and Gynaecological Services at Capital & Coast District Health Board (CCDHB).

She also remains up-to-date with the latest evidence-based medicine through maintaining and writing guidelines and policies for Women’s Health at CCDHB. She enjoys teaching and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago Wellington School of Medicine.
